Some friends asking about the breathing / decanting time of these bottles. Here is little suggestion ~
〝Gigi Bianco Barbaresco Pora 2007〞&
〝Gigi Bianco Barbaresco Ovello 2007〞
Gigi Bianco Barbarescos, both, don’t need to breath too much.
The Pora is a bit more closed (due to the using of used barrique for aging).
Ovello is a wonderful wine, quite ready to drink. One hour decanting should be enough.
〝Rivella Serafino Barbaresco Montestefano 2005〞
Rivella is another great wine, tannic and full, no barrique at all but powerful masculine tannins, great aging potential. Longer decanting, 2-3 hours.
