酸者 ~  L 小姐要準備她的專業考試,她的私房菜館要暫時停止服務,真不知要等到何年何月才可再享受到她的廚藝!!

Vins Gallery(榮仕廊) - Grand Opening Party in Macau

Dear Valuable Customers and Friends,


I am so pleased to have our 10th shop going to be grand opened on the 27th of Sept in Macau, the first Vins Gallery Shop 〔榮仕廊〕 outside Hong Kong . Thanks to the kindness of a lot of good friends who would like to join the grand opening ceremony. I, therefore, would like to take this special opportunity to hold a wine dinner in Macau for the celebration.


It will be a Portugal buffer dinner at Macau Tennis Club, a famous restaurant over there. All the wines will be selected by me who you can trust.


For those who would like to join, please reserve the seat through our shops at your earliest convenience as we have to book the ferry ticket and confirm with the restaurant. It is HK$800 per head. Ferry return ticket, wine dinner, fire work and local transportation back to harbour are all inclusive.

"Crazy" Belgium Wine-tasting Party


 

Dear Wine Lover,

Belgians love to party and “party crazy” they do.  So does Mr.  Ludovic Boucart, the Belgian winemaker of Les Vins de Roisin, who completed his oenology studies in the Universities of Bordeaux and Burgundy and made wine in St.-Émillion and Puligny-Montrachet.  Well, Ludovic was also “crazy” enough to start a winery producing Belgian vintage fruit wines.  The move perhaps “crazy”, but these wines are serious.  Not the sugary “recipe fruit wines made by adding fruit juice, water, sugar, syrup, etc., these are “real gastronomic fruit wines” made through the same vinification processes in making grape wines.

We invite you to an exclusive wine-tasting party at the KEE private members club (6/F., 32 Wellington Street, Hong Kong), Tuesday 16th September 2008 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm, with “crazy” Belgian winemaker Ludovic himself . Come and enjoy these delicate Belgian vintage fruit wines specially matched with tantalizing canapés created by Executive Chef Bonelli.

【明報專訊】相信不少酒迷都有類似經驗——開了一瓶酒,呷一口才發覺味道不對,整瓶酒就此擱,喝又不是,不喝又浪費。對於這個難題,以前的解決方法不是只買有信心的酒,便是多賺一點錢,現在我會跟你說,到喜來登酒店吧!酒店近日引入「智能售酒機」,酒品以2.5、7.5及15毫升3種分量出售,方便客人試飲,對味後才開一瓶,或將一瓶酒的價錢「分散投資」,試飲多款酒品,從用家角度解決酒癡的難題。


毋須整瓶買


由意大利設計的智能售酒機(Enomatic wine dispensing system)早已登陸歐美,喜來登酒店引入全港第一部售酒機,也是源於飲食部總監Rolf Von Weissenfluh在夏威夷旅行時,在餐廳見識過售酒機好玩之處,回港下令同事購入。「我喜歡嘗試不同的酒,尤其是冷門酒品最能引起我的好奇心。可惜大部分酒都以瓶為出售單位,在未知酒是否對味便買一瓶是很冒險的事,令我放棄了很多試酒的機會。」Rolf說看到售酒機就像看到寶貝一樣,整晚圍它團團轉,試完一款再試另一款酒,不亦樂乎。


售酒機就是為了滿足好奇心而設,故Rolf刻意選偏門酒售賣,讓客人付數十元便可一嘗味道口感。「除此之外,貴價酒亦是wine list焦點。千多元一瓶酒,多少人能負擔呢?所以我們加入貴酒如Echezeaux Grand Cru Cote de Nuits 2005,一瓶售$2275,但透過售酒機,只要$25便可嘗到了。」當然,$25只有最少的2.5毫升分量,但能以平價一嘗佳釀已夠好了,而且一杯15毫升的才賣$115,售酒機令高高在上的酒品變得親民。


24款酒任選


每部售酒機可供應8款酒,酒店購入了3部,換言之共有24款酒品選擇,當中紅酒佔16瓶、白酒8瓶,wine list每3個月轉換一次。「本月剛換了酒單,其中一部會推出『Bordeaux之選』,挑選8款Bordeaux酒饗客。」待發展成熟,售酒機便會加入香檳、甜酒等選擇,不再局限於紅白酒。


巧遇熟客Eileen,她以用家身分說出對售酒機的感想﹕「一大班人暢飲尤其好玩,你試一款我試一款,隨時發現新寵。操作容易,加上有專人在旁解釋酒品特點,十分user-friendly。且只是幾十元,就算不合口味,買個經驗也值得。」售酒機不收現金,客人可到酒吧櫃台購買儲值卡,首次付款$600,$100為按金,之後每次增值,價格不限。

售酒機設在Sky Lounge門口,客人踏入酒吧即會看到。熟客Eileen欣賞酒店選擇非大路酒,善用了機器「平價試酒」特點,讓酒迷嘗到更多出品。



售酒機供應2.57.515毫升3種分量,根據不同酒品及分量定價。本月至9月的wine list2.5毫升定價$20$907.5毫升由$50$270,而15毫升則由$100$535。最貴的酒乃Chateau La Mission Haut-Brion Pessac-leognan 2002,一瓶售約$24002.5毫升$907.5毫升$27015毫升$535



儲值卡只在Sky Lounge有售,插卡後即根據所選酒品扣錢,十分方便。卡後更有晶片,記錄客人點選過的酒品。
