DELTETTO LANGHE FAVORITA DOC 2009
Grape Variety: 100% Favorita
The Favorita is a rather rare original Piedmontese vine with grapes that are larger than the Arneis. The wine is not so alcoholic but fresh and with a bouquet of flowers and exotic fruit.
The word “sarvaj” means “wild” and is a reference to the wild character of the Roero hills covered with vine-yards and woods.
Straw yellow color, fresh in the mouth with an intense bouquet of oranges and citruses.
DELTETTO LANGHE ARNEIS DOC 2009
Grape Variety: 100% Arneis
Straw yellow color, bouquet of exotic fruit, apple, elegant and truly fresh in the mouth.
DELTETTO BARBERA D’ALBA BRAMÈ DOC 2008
Grape Variety: 100% Barbera
The word “Bramè” derives from the expression “bramare, to desire” and refers to the sensations of elegance coming from this Cru.
Intense red color with shades of violet, bouquet of cherry and vanilla giving the wine a great structure and good acidity which make the wine suitable to medium term ageing.
DELTETTO LANGHE NEBBIOLO DOC 2007
Grape Variety: 100% Nebbiolo
Intense ruby red color, bouquet of blackberries and raspberries and great fresh tannin.
VILLA BELLA Vigna Morlongo Bardolino Classico DOC 2009
Grape Variety: Corvina 55%, Rondinella 30%, Corvinone 15%
Bright ruby red color.
It has a light, fruit driven nose expressing typical Veronese characteristics of strawberries, red cherries, raspberries, redcurrants and hits of spices.
The palate is light bodied, dry yet rounded, fresh and attractive with ripe red fruits and berries, little tannin, lightly spicy and a supporting acidity that is balancing and at the same time refreshing, a very easy-drinking style.
La Spinetta Bricco Quaglia Moscato d'Asti DOCG 2008
Grape Variety: 100% Moscato Bianco
Straw yellow color, bouquet of apples, pears, flowers and little spices, fresh and sweet in the mouth.
Thanks to DELTETTO Carlo for sponsoring most of the wines of the night! J
