We now invite you to join us in the 12th and final tour in our series of ‘Discoveries Winemaker Tour 2009’, a joint programme by m.a.x. concepts, wine merchant Cottage Vineyards (International) and local wine instructor, Damon Yuen, where each month, a visiting winemaker and Damon, will lead you to discover some of the world’s most exciting and unusual wines paired to a range of exquisite cuisine in various m.a.x. concepts outlets.
This 12th and final tour, entitled, “Grand Finale: A Moment of Thanks with the Royal Wines of Burgundy and Jura”, 28 and 30 January, 2010, offers to thank you for your support in our last 11 tours by offering to you the royal treatment, two memorable events featuring the wines of leading Burgundy Mercurey house, Domaine Michel Juillot and Jura producer Frédéric Lornet.
The two events led by Laurent Juillot, the present winemaker and owner of Domaine Michel Juillot, are:

A heart-warming 6-wine, 6-course winemaker dinner bringing to you all of New England’s most hearty cuisine including New England Clam Chowder, Thanksgiving turkey served with cranberry relish and Yorkshire pudding, and old-fashioned all American apple pie with home-made vanilla ice-cream.
2. Our most luxurious and value-for-money winemaker dinner ever at MEZZ (1/F., Prince Building, Central, Hong Kong): $918.00/$780.00 NET per person:
A 7-wine, 7-course Corton-Charlemagne Luxurious Burgundy Cuisine Winemaker Dinner featuring Burgundy’s most famous and exquisite dishes including quenelles de brochet, escargots à la bourguignonne, andouillette sausage, beef bourguignonne, and most memorably, lobster in a champagne-morel sauce with Domaine Michel Juillot’s cherished Corton-Charlemagne 2004, ending with a nectar for the gods, Frédéric Lornet’s Côtes de Jura Vin de Paille 2003.
