中秋杭州酒家95西班牙酒飯局 ~ 美酒篇




 


又到了我十分喜歡的節日 ~ 中秋節!


自古至今,中秋節是一個象徵合家團圓的節日。


妹妹雀躍的跟我說:「我也喜歡呀!因為有月餅食!」【氣死人!】


 


突然想起,中秋節在杭州多好喔!


好吧,今個中秋,就相約一班好朋友慶祝中秋在杭州﹝酒家﹞


再加上 95 年靚西班牙酒,不錯吧!

U Mes U Fan Tres (1+1=3) Cava Brut NV


A blend of Macabeu, Xarel-lo and Parellada grapes.


Pale color with a rather coarse mousse. With no real complexity, but a tasty Cava with nice savory richness and refreshing tart acidity. Toast and lemon flavors dominate. A good all-purpose fizz for occasions when finesse isn’t called for.






Arzuaga Fan D’ Oro Blanco 2006


Rich yellow straw in colour with intense bouquet of ripe mango, pineapple and tropical fruits, laced lightly buttered toasted bread.  A fresh and delicious palate of Provenza herbs with citrus characters to a nice long finish.  What a delight to savour the only Chardonnay from the famous Ribera region that goes so well with seafood and tapas!





Arzuaga Pago Florentino Tinto 2004


Deep in color, this modern style Tempranillo offers quite a bit for the buck. Notes of chocolate, smoke and black fruit on the nose. Full-bodied, velvety smooth and lush with more black fruit and chocolate on the palate. Very nice.





M. Bujanda Conde De Valdemar Reserva 1995, Rioja


A blend of 80% Tempranillo and 20% Mazuelo.


Deep purple red color. Sweet nose with ripe black fruit and cherries with hints of dried herbs. Not overly complex but it is vibrant and fresh on the nose. Nice balanced and smooth on the palate, with some sweetness from the fruit and oak and silky tannins. Really good value.





M. Bujanda Finca Valpiedra Reserva 1995, Rioja


This is Martinez Bujanda’s single-vineyard Rioja. Made predominantly from Tempranillo, with a trace of Mazuelo and Graciano. Deep purple red colour. Evolving nicely with some sweet herbal and ripe fruits on the nose. The palate is quite complex and intensely savoury, displaying a good concentration of sweet fruits and hint of liquorices. Good acidity with fine tannins and a medium length finish. Quite good.
