戰戰兢兢的與一班好朋友辦了這個意大利老酒宴。

溫馨提示：

喝舊酒並不等於喝好酒。需要大家有冒險精神！

因生產到現在時間長，中間很多因素可以影響酒質，當然也要視乎支酒本身耐力。就看看我們的運氣吧！

不太放心，早一天在公司還是開了一支 85 年的 Dolcetto，看看會否不值一試。

Cordero di Montezemolo Dolcetto d’Alba 1985

Clear, ruby red color with slightly brown rim.

Nose of little sweet red fruits and floral, followed by mineral, alcohol and hints of sour cabbage.

Taste: Still got good acidity as well as soft tannins, cherries and dried date.

After half hour in glass – the wine gains more sweet sense of the fruits. Quite nice indeed.  Didn’t expect a 1985 Dolcetto shows that well!

Raboso

A red-wine grape grown primarily in Italy’s VENETO region, where it’s thought to have originated.

Raboso’s known for its heavy Tannins, high Acid, and deep color.

It is often blended with much softer wines to improve their structure, complexity and smoothness.

The Raboso VARIETAL WINES from the Piave DOC are usually harsh and austere in their youth but can Soften nicely with Age. This variety is also called Negron.

It may not be enjoyable to drink alone, but pair well with Pasta, Risotto, Pizza and Piave (Italian cheese).

兩支 61 Barbaresco & Barolo 表現理想 (雖然有 bottle variation)，有板有眼，和諧平衡，力度當然不比當年。慶幸果味並沒有全流走，只剩酸！輕輕的花香，優雅酒體中帶著吸引的櫻桃、紅莓等紅果味。還是討好的！

B小姐說：「支61 Barbaresco 比起上次在意大利喝的 Gaja 67 還要好！」唉！

話明老酒宴，Moscato d' Asti 也要舊些啦！

好彩這支甜姐兒還是五官齊全，標緻勝預期！

 

後記：

為怕老酒真的不堪入口而掃大家雅興，當晚已有兩手準備，攜帶了另外兩瓶一定無問題的好酒以便補救。最後用不著，所以以象徵式價錢賣了給一位老友記，事後她致電我說：『那兩瓶酒實在太好喝，我們想 order 一箱呀！』

啊！對不起！那些已是非賣品，多年前儲下來到適當時候辦酒宴用的，已經找不到那年份了！但聽到他們如此喜歡，心中也是甜絲絲的！
